LEGO Bridge Building Workshop

A full design-cycle challenge where students imagined, planned, built, tested, and improved their own LEGO bridges.

Workshop overview

How strong can LEGO be?

Students in grades 3–6 designed, built, and tested LEGO bridges while exploring strength, balance, structural design, creativity, and teamwork.

Young engineers followed the process: Imagine → Plan → Create → Experiment → Improve.

Students explored

  • Bridge decks, trusses, supports, and load paths
  • Balance, stability, and structural strength
  • Testing, collaboration, and iterative improvement
